         กล้วยไม้หวายพันธุ์ "โสมสวลี" พระนามพระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอพระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี พระวรราชาทินัดดามาตุ ดอกมีสีม่วงครามอ่อน ออกดอกเป็นพวง และด้วยก้านช่อที่ไม่ยาวมาก จึงโดดเด่นเหมาะสำหรับเป็นกล้วยไม้ประดับ ชนิดจัดโชว์ทั้งต้นและดอก  กล้วยไม้หวาย พันธุ์ “โสมสวลี”  ( Dendrobium “Soamsawali” )กล้ยวไม้ลูกผสม ระหว่างต้นพ่อพันธุ์ “คอมแพ็คตั้ม โบตาบลู” (Dendrobium compactum BotaBlue) และต้นแม่พันธุ์ “ขาวธนิดาไวท์” (Dendrobium “Thanida White”) โดยนายสวง คุ้มวิเชียร (แอร์ออร์คิดส์ &แล็บ) เป็นผู้ผสมพันธุ์ ให้ดอกครั้งแรกเดือนมกราคม 2546  และได้รับประทานนามจากพระเจ้าวรวงศ์เธอ พระองค์เจ้าโสมสวลี พระวรราชาทินัดดามาตุ เมื่อวันที่ 15 พฤษภาคม 2550ดอก มีสีม่วงครามอ่อน ดอกออกเป็นพวง ด้วยก้านช่อที่ไม่ยาวมากจึงมีความเด่นที่จะเป็นกล้วยไม้ประดับชนิดจัดโชว์ ทั้งต้นและดอก มีอายุการใช้งานหลายสัปดาห์ ดอกกล้วยไม้พันธุ์นี้มีลายเส้นสีขาวอ่อนๆ แฝงอยู่ในกลีบดอกและมีคอดอกสีขาว เมื่อดอกเริ่มบานจะมีสีเข้ม หลังจากดอกบานเต็มที่ทั้งช่อ สีม่วงของดอกจะสว่างขึ้น ต้นกลัวยไม้พันธุ์นี้มีขนาดกะทัดรัด ความสูงของต้นและดอกเฉลี่ยประมาณ 40-50 ซม. ออกดอกเฉลี่ยมากกว่า 2 ครั้งต่อปี
